Presumably it was the owner that signed the contract/release to have the chips made. I guess it would have been the same person that autographed them.
Gene would need to confirm that for sure.
However, I seem to recall it was a club member or collector that put forward the idea and possibly put Gene in contact with that person. Possibly Dave 'Cinch' Hench? He might also be able to answer.
