I have no idea how this happened.
My son and daughter happen to go to school together and last night they had the opportunity to see Bill Clinton speak at their university. My daughter, of course, couldn't wait to go and see him. My son, on the other hand, who had no desire to see ANY Clinton, is in the marching band and Bill wanted the band to be at the rally. He weighed missing his sex 101 class (or something of that nature) against attending the event. I'm still not sure what he decided, but I told him that whatever he thinks of Bill Clinton, the man is a rock star wherever he goes in the world (as someone who travels abroad extensively, I can tell you that there hasn't in recent memory been a U.S. President who has been so adored overseas) and that he won't have many opportunities to see someone like this, live, in his life.
