All the message board software I am familiar with places a line of text at the bottom of the message indicating that the message has been edited, how many times it has been edited, the time of the last edit so everyone knows it, AND it saves copies of the original message with subsequent edits which are available to the board admin. I would like to think that we are all adults in here that can act in a professional manner and not go around flaming one another like this is some sort of teen gamer board like IGN so I don't see it being that big of a concern.
Finally, I find it hard to believe that someone would file a complaint with the because someone called them a name on the chipboard; I know I wouldn't. I would like to think that Travis Lewin has better things to do than investigate someone calling me a name.
Cheers,
Bill
