I recently won an auction for Savannah Lady $5s. The auction said there were 150 of them. I won the auction for $46 (with shipping). The title was "casino chips" and the descripton was "hi you are bidding on 150 red chips from the savanh lady which went out of business in 1996 it was the first casino boat in charleston south carolina thanks" the seller mis spelled Savannah and used no key words. Here is the picture the seller used from the auction..
My intent was to resale some of these to pay for them selves and for a few chips i recently purchaced, which they did. The rest are being donated to the convention grab bags. Out of the 150 stated in the auction, i got 146 and about 15 were damaged. I just recounted whats left and there is 95 that will go to the grab bags.
It was suggested to me in an email that i was wrong to sell these for what i did because of what i paid. I felt and still feel that i sold these at a fair price.
If anyone i sold any of these to think otherwise, email me and i will refund your money.
here is the auction link.
