I was a bit "off" when I said I've used a pc for 7 years. While I've owned one for that amount of time, I've been using a pc since the late 80s.

I truly appreciate all of you taking the time to respond. One more thing:

Can anyone recommend a book or website that explains how to do things in a Mac? What would be ideal is something that lists the Mac counterpart for a Windows function. Example: Setting up directories, files, etc.
