I knew there was a story, but didn't remember it very well...

In "my" version, Mrs. somebody wanted to be on a postcard. Her husband had the juice to make it happen, and the photo was taken. Before the cards were delivered, the divorce happened. The cards were delivered to Mr. somebody, who destroyed all but 3 of 'em.

And I don't remember where I saw the story! Thanks for the corrected version, complete with names.

The bad thing is, there's two small holes and a crease in the top of the card (through "the"), from a staple.
