I paid the seller his required $3 postage and the envelope arrived with .80 cents postage affixed on the plain white envelope. I returned the chip to the seller via insured first class mail in a brand new padded 000 bubble envelope requesting a full refund of my bid and the $3 I paid for postage ... minus the .80 cents postage that was affixed to his envelope. The seller's email response to my initial claim was "No habla English" ... but his ebay auctions are always in perfect English. I then engaged ebay's resolution center with no results. The seller then accused me of switching chips and not returning the chip that he claims was sent to me. I had no recourse but to neg him ... and he negged me in retaliation. However, he said in his negative rating that I was "astute" ... which could be interepreted as a compliment I guess, but I lost my 100% positive rating.
Question; How do I challenge or respond to the sellers retaliatory negative that he gave to me in return?
Not a nice way to start off the New Year!
