The Reno chips are actually pictures out of "Clip Art". They were legal only because they did not use a name on the chip.

In 1995 Graceland sent me an application for permission to use Elvis on a chip. If I remember right it was over 20 pages with questions on front and back. The letter said, we were welcome to fill it out, but there was almost no chance of an approval. We also had to send a non refundable check with the app. I forgot how much it was supposed to be.
