If you want to play poker in Reno, stay at the Peppermill, they have several tournaments a week, cash games and some Omaha on the weekends. And, while you're in Reno, be sure to go see Dennis Owen at Reno Coin on W. 2nd St., two blocks off Virginia. Introduce yourself, tell him you're a chip collector and go from there. Straight up guy with some nice chips (like the Sunflower) for sale at fair prices.

And, for something completely different, a drive to Pyramid Lake is worth a half day diversion.
