No, there were no casino chips used at Harry Gordon's, and old favorite hangout of mine when Vegas was Vegas!! Located in a small 'strip' mall between the old MGM (now Ballys) and the Aladdin, there were two separate 'rooms'. One was for horse betting and the other for sports. This was during the time when this type of betting was done at the "parlors", not in the hotel/casinos themselves. Others on the strip I remember were the Rose Bowl and Santa Anita Books which were located closer to the Desert Inn. Harry Gordon's was located at the far south end of the strip mall, closest to the Aladdin. In the same mall, closer to MGM, was Little Caesars casino which of course had chips! All of this property now is part of the Paris casino/resort.
