...people HERE would LOVE to have something SOLID under their house! Much of the area here in southeast Texas and Louisiana is gumbo (clay) and the foundations move and crack badly. I happen to be in a small area with 'sandy loam' soil which is good (it doesn't move around). If our soil was any worse they would build on houses on PONTOONS! LOL

OOPS... The DO build on pontoons in Louisiana, Houses AND Casinos too!
