Like Becky, two three feet you hit water.....I'm less than one mile from the ocean. Plenty of crawl spaces and slabs. I have a report that says NO houses south of North Carolina should be built on a crawl space. Which means NC, SC, GA, and Fla. The humid season is too long and the moisture can't dry out.......causing MOLD.
