I just had to mention this to someone who would understand my excitement. Earlier this week a good friend was appointed to a judgeship by Governor Davis.
Rick is 40 years old, the first black apointed to the Riverside County Superior Court. We are obviously very proud of him. He is a man of the highest integrity, and is known by prosecutors and defence attornies alike to be very competent and very fair. Please forgive my tooting his horn for him, he would never do that.
