Last year we went through a similar situation with our Yellow Lab. It was costly, but certainly worth it in the end. He was MUCH more comfortable and returned to his normal behavior after the treatments! I had to sell a few of my prize chips to cover the medical costs, but I would do it again in a second.

BTW - We went to VCA Animal Hospital in Aurora, they were great!
