Although I do not have the release date (but it should be towards the very end of January 2008, or the beginning of February, 2008) I have been given the opportunity to post the artwork for the recently listed, Gaming Approved, 2008 Chinese Lunar New Year commemorative (Year of the Rat) chip, being released as a $5 Limited Edition (1,000 each) chip for The Orleans Hotel and Casino, as made by GPI (Paul-Son) in "The Orleans" house mold.

Again, I do not know the release date, nor do I have any involvement with availability, but I am pleased that I have been allowed to have and post, the artwork of this pending issue.

Unfortunately, at this time, I only have the b/w artwork and hope to have the color artwork soon. In the meantime, this first time $8 issue for The Orleans is in a metallic gold with three sets of side-by-side yellow and orange inserts. It should be noted that the notation of "Limited Edition" or "LTD" or a quantity is not used on this artwork, but will be released in a quantity of 1,000.
