Last year, when I was in Aruba, I picked up one of the very new $5 house chips from the Crystal Casino. This year, my in-laws brought me back 3 $5 house chips from the Crystal Casino. 1 was like the one I bought last year, but 2 were noticeably different and identical to each other. I asked and my in-laws confirmed that you could find each type, that they were easy to identify on the tables and there were no intermediate looking chips. The new chips are a lighter, brighter cardinal red, whereas the older are a darker, wine color. In addition, the new chips have noticeably sharper corners. I haven't checked against my old chip, just the old style chip I just got.
