How would I know if it's a sample? It doesn't appear to be completely new, actually. The color of the hot stamp is not exactly gold, either. The color shown in the scans is pretty accurate. So, it does like pretty used.

As for what the YF means, I believe that many clubs have used the initials of the names of the owners or managers rather than the club, as well.

Don. when were card clubs legalized in Oregon? Could this be an illegal club prior to legalization? Or have limited clubs always been legal in Oregon?

When I have a little more expendable cash, I will probably write to Bud Meyer and/or Howdy Hertz for identification. I have a couple more chips I would like identified as well.
