... my published opinion and my suggestion to the CCGTCC BOD has been that we should have informed related hobby collectors (numistmatists) of the altered, fake and look-a-like brass core chips that have been manufactured which caused our club and hobby so much grief.

I feel it was our responsibility to inform collectors in some of the widely-circulated, somewhat hobby-related, antique/collector tabloids and magazines such as The Nunistmatist and FUN Topics... as an "educational" note of awareness.
