I love dump digging! We hit the Expo 86 site in Vancouver when it was being excavated,and the whole site was a treasure trove of bottles,doll heads,marbles,jugs,chinese medicines etc as it was over 100 years old.
We would get there in the morning around 4:30 and stay until 10:00 at night,just stopping long enough to hit a fast food joint or two.
The construction site foreman was very accomodating as we would give him some treasures as tokes.
He knew that if he let us dig in areas where there was no work going on,that we would stay away from areas which were being worked on.We even had backhoe operators dig us big trenches so that we could get started right away.
Had almost 2 straight months of sheer joy!
