I have purchased a chip that has about a 1/16 inch warp to it. No problem as it was disclosed at the time of purchase. It got me to thinking. What causes a warp in a clay chip? Was it caused at the time of production or after the fact? Is there some way to remove the twist or warp in the chip? Many of the chips that I have seen from a dig or fire have a warp or twist to them. This chip is in like new condition, so I don't think is was ever anywhere near a fire. Thanks for any information.
