Did his post list him as being from abroad? I personally ask anyone who does not post shipping costs before I bid. I agree I would not pay to ship a chip overseas when I can find it here and pay normal shipping. You may be stuck though. At least you'll have a good story to tell about what you had to go through to get the chip. ;) Now it has sentimental value... Maybe the seller will agree to re-list the chip and let you off the hook. It can't hurt to ask, but since he is not returning your emails, I don't know. Whatever happens, good luck.
