It discusses ZapGrab, a freebie application that allows you to select, copy images from your screen. You are restricted to rectangular shaped selections, but instead of getting the whole screen (which you can do) you can be selective about what part of the screen you want. Then, you can paste what it copied into any graphics program and also other applications that can handle graphic images, like PowerPoint, Word, Excel, FileMakerPro, Access, etc.
