I saw the plane in it's original hanger in the late 70's. Then in 1980 or so, I used to drive by it every workday...it had been moved from it's hanger and left outdoors under camouflage netting while we tore down the old hanger area & built a marine terminal for offloading oil tankers. I was there the day that they moved it from outdoors, loaded it on barge (using one of the largest floating cranes in the world -- Herman the German) and set it at the domed location next to the Queen Mary...kinda cool!!
