I applaud your POSITIVE contributions to seek a better future for the club. Jim's suggestions seem like good ideas to me. My main suggestion that I have made a few times this week is to just try - if possible - to react positively and encouragingly to newcomers that seem to make a clear and obvious attempt to learn or understand and are just seeking the collective wisdom of the group or to even ask a simple question that a simple response from one person can answer. I understand past problems with anonymous posters and I am not saying that you have to be nice to rabble rousers (including me if you see me as one - no reaction necessary on this point please). But if John Doe posts as "Joe" - no last name and no club number - asking a question, please, if you can, just try to help him if you have the info he is seeking or email him and tell him you will email him later when you get time. Show that info is freely given to all and not just club members. If you can't, please just let it go instead of posting rules that you follow on how you react to posts from folks with no last name or member number. Please - is that too much to ask? Maybe it is. I hope not.
