I think I atually saw someone else post this every same reply today but it cant be said enough.

This Board is NOT the CC & GTCC and does NOT represent the opinions of the club in general. There are in fact many members who frequent this board including some very vocal and contravercial ones. Sure you see a lot of arguing and pettyness as you would expect on any chat room board. However the opinions expressed here are NOT those of the majority of the club. We have thousands of members who never visit the board so it is incorrect for some to judge the club by the 20-30 here making posts.

I know that for many, it is hard to seperate this board from the club as there is a lot of club related topics here. And I do agree that this board has a lot of impact on membership, both current and future.

You mentioned that you went to the convention. What was your impression? Did you see any bickering there? I see a completely different view of the membership outside this board. People you can trust, People willing to help you out, people you will want to remain lifelong friends with. Others might see it another way, but that is what this club is for me.

Please keep this in mind when making your decision and I wish you the best in making the right choice for yourself.
