Hi all ,

Well, if all goes according to plan I will be making my first trip to Las Vegas since 1985 the first week of July. I plan on being there from July 1st to the 7th. Was going to try to make it to the convention but my work schedule didn't permit it.

Any advice from the locals on a reasonably priced hotel (or guest room if they have one (G) ) would be helpful. I will be traveling alone and didn't know if any of the local hotels have rooms for the single visitor at a reasonable rate.

Will be there for my birthday on July 4th. so will need to stop by the casinos issuing 4th of July chips also. Any of them offer any birthday specials for the out-of-town visitor?

Would like to meet all those that live in the area that I've been in contact with over the past year or so since I've been a member of the CC & GTCC. Anyone available to be a part-time tour guide while I'm there? {G}

Also suggestions on the best breakfast and dinner buffets would be helpful.

I hope to have my plans finalized in the next week and am looking forward to my trip. All advise is appreciated and I hope to get to see Janice O'Neal, Gene Trimble, Ralph Myers, Andy Hughes, Chuck Smorse, Mike Spinneti, and any other club members who happen to either live there or will be visiting there at the same time.
