I am not sure if you all are aware or not, but most post offices have 2 drop boxes. One marked "Metered Mail" the other "Stamped Letters".

Padded or bubble wrap mailers are NOT a LETTER and should not go in the "Stamped Letter" drop box, as well as over-sized letters and letters with a franc. You have a little better chance of getting your padded or bubble wrap mailer hand canceled by at least putting it in the correct drop box.

Just thought you might like to know that.
