...other than being WAY out of control or being really lucky when gambling is, playing smart. Money management on the green felt is as important, if not more, as it is on the stock market. Recognizing small winning streaks and riding them (sometimes turning into large streaks), along with recogizing the reverse and walking away (before THAT streak turns into a large one), is the only way I've found to stay even or ahead in the casinos. A little luck never hurts either! <G>
You gotta bet it to win it, but you are well ahead in the beginning if you know how to lower the odds. That's one of the reasons I love that French roulette table. The single zero cuts the house odds in half compared to an American roulette table, down to about 2.5%. I can live with that, because I can walk away if I'm losing, but they have to stay and play when I'm winning!
