Simple reason being John is that a club-related question being asked here should receive an 'official' response by an elected club representative ... by 'anyone' is not official.
Generally speaking, I have no objection to Carl's post being posted on thechipboard. However, I think that club members should post club-related topics on the club message board as well. That's what the club board was set up for; club business.
