I booked my tickets on American from Ft. Lauderdale to Los Angeles for $198 RT. That includes the "old farts" discount, plus some coupons my travel agent had stashed away. I will be renting a car & making the scenic drive to Las Vegas. I don't want to miss that thermometer that read 130 degrees the last time I drove. We stopped to get a drink & when I opened the car door I felt like I was breathing in air from a pizza oven! Nobody give me that dry heat BS!!! It was hotter than a witches........Never mind!
