yes, the PJS chips were used at Rileys, where P. J. Sullivan was the manager. He may have used them when he managed and worked in other clubs. He worked at the Piping Rock in the 1930's, and also at the Elite in French Lick, Indiana. This from Richard Carbin's Saratoga chip book. Carbin says that PJS chips showed up at the Elite. But he doesn't say which ones. In the style of your yellow chip, Carbin shows pictures of it for Tables 1 and 2 -- yellow for $1, and brown for $5 and green for $25. He also shows this chip which I had a number of, still do, a crest and seal chip:

The yellow Tables 1 and 2 ones are relatively common. I never saw the browns and greens, could use them.

The Frolics pictured below, I have for sale. The Frolics, Chicago, Illinois. A great find here. Only I have these chips, other than some collectors who bought a chip from me (I bought out all of the chips from a man in Wisconsin whose mother worked in the Frolics and rescued these chips). There are only 14 left of the brown chips and 25 each of the red and orange chips. Aiuppa eventually rose to the top of the Chicago mob ("Outfit"). As I show in the auction description, he not only owned the club, but was arrested there (per Chicago Tribune newspaper story). The chips sold here are T-mold, very nice condition, though canceled with neat drill hole. ).
