Along the same theme, I started collecting only from casinos that I had played in or visited at one time or another and enjoyed going through chips while playing to see if I could find a better hot stamp, or one without a cigarette burn. I don't believe I have ever seen an LE or commemorative with a cigar or cigarette burn. And I understand why some of the collectors cannot believe it when I prefer a used chip over a pristine edged, squeeky clean chip that may not have ever been in a sweaty palm, dirty pocket, or even ever hit a layout. They like pretty chips, clean chips and want to display stuff that really has little to do with gaming other than the casinos made em' for you to buy....not to play. As long as it creates more interest in chipping, I am all for them and join them often when certain ones are interesting. Whatever turns you on....
