Just watched last night's pilot episode of Viva Laughlin and I must say that it is not great...it is actually bad... HOWEVER...it is almost so awful,that it reminds me of a Quentin Terantino movie without the gore,and many people do like Quentin.
Acting is wooden.Plot is.....hmmmm...minimul.Dialogue is just awful(think Dragnet from years ago),yet I liked the music idea(it helped that I also like the songs).
Not quite as bad a train wreck as what critics say.....but is REAL close,AND...for the record....even though I can't stand Terantino's movies! I will give this show another chance on Sunday for the season opener.
Viva Laughlin is like a B- movie BUT....hey...weren't many of us raised on B movies? And look how we all turned out right?
