Dont go to Sands... its closed.... other than that, go everywhere else. The boardwalk area is fine, but some of the town (inland from the boardwalk) is a little less safe (although I've never had a problem). I am guessing you are driving. There are tips and tricks that some of the locals can give you on parking. The Harrahs properties can give you a receipt to park once at a non-Harrahs casino. So if you work the system you can park free in a couple of different places.
