NCR: Nutty eBay bids (not for chips)

Chips aren't the only thing that get crazy bids on eBay. I spotted an auction for a cool Hawaiian shirt a few days ago. The auction clearly states that it is a reproduction, even though it is listed in a vintage shirt category. So I did a quick Google search and found a website that sells them for $58. Exact same shirt, brand new.

The auction price ended up at $213.50. One of the bidders looks like they could be a shill, but the two highest bidders look legitimate.

Sometimes it pays to do your homework, no matter what you're bidding on. grin
