When something screwy like this appears after an auction, I --as a buyer-- always nicely cite the inconsistencies. Invariably the seller goes along with me/with common sense. Be nice now; you can always be nasty later on. A lot of the confusion stems from eBay"s detailed "Sell Your Item" form. I, as a seller, often overlook stuff, so items from old auctions that I forgot about can appear in the boilerplate of a new auction. It always annoyed me that the boilerplate always seems to say "insurance not offered"; I often forget to edit that. I have never had a seller refuse a request for insurance.
In general, I think it is unlikely that the seller will steal such a small sum as about $100, and have his feedback messed up (perfect 100% positive now) and be at odds with eBay and the law.
