Surprised you're not able to scan. Isn't your terminal one of the newer units (WebTV)? I'm still using the older SONY INT-W250 unit and I'm able to plug in a HP EZ-Scanner passing thru my VCR while still being able to view TV while being on line with the PIP (picture in picture) feature.

The only problem I'm having right now is accessing this board because I have the index set at two days of posts. I can use a work-around site to view but that doesn't allow me to post, only view.
