John said to liken it to an everyday (NON bone china) coffee mug. I guess in this day and age I assumed there would be more plastic in there. Then again, if you drop your coffee mug it will probably break
There has to be some reasonable heat applied when making the blanks or the particles would not fuse, but I guess its not as hot as I expected.
I didnt know they were making their own blanks now (probably because I didnt ask
). Blanks you could probably not tell apart by eye are still available elsewhere.
Anyway, the point is, its pretty safe to describe them as 'ceramic'
