I just received a cheap Curacao chip I bought in an ebay auction. Although appears to have a standard type of bud jones mold, I was curious about the inner and out circles of color on the rim. The inner circle is darker. Of course, my chip is in well used condition, so I thought it might be fading or some other phenomenon having nothing to do with the original look of the chip. I then noticed in all of the inserts what looks like a squared off indentation at the very rim. They are very hard to see in the scan or with the naked eye, but they can be seen. They are centered in each insert. But, I can't really feel them, so they must be very shallow. Finally, the chip has an almost rubbery feel to it. I have some underground chips that have this feel, but no casino chips. Does anyone have any other chips with this mold? Do you find similar attributes (rubbery feel, two colors on the rim)?

Does anyone have one of these Antillean chips in better condition to compare? If so, please e-mail me a scan or post one here (that I can copy preferrably).
