EVERYONE who complains about our chip dealers (or chip service providers) should be required, before doing so, to go on a chip run themselves to at least 10 casinos, then distribute the chips to a minimum of 10 collectors. Guaranteed, there would be no more complainers.

We had a thread on this awhile back. Someone asked if anyone was a full time dealer. As I recall, Gene's comment was:

In the end, I think it was agreed that only Doug Saito even tries to make chips a full time business and even he is doing it by doing more than just selling chips (I hope that's right, Doug; if not, please feel free to correct me).

I buy a lot of current chips from various chip "dealers" and don't mind one bit paying the small premium they charge. It's still way cheaper than driving (or flying) to Vegas, Reno, Atlantic City, the Pacific Northwest, Florida, the Mississippi River valley or any of the other places that issue interesting chips. ----- o\-S
