>"A 1040 LE $1 chip issue sure as hell won't make the Four Queens any money. They made them for us. You scoff them for it. Amazing...."

Now it seems people can't get enough of them. I don't see any one stating that the chips are worth 10 times face as an opening bid on eBay, but given that there has been some difficulty buying them at the casino due to resricted purchases, they are very collectible (what $1 LE isn't?).
If the FQ didn't put some kind of restrictions on a 1040 number LE issue $1 chips, I could almost guarantee that the entire release would be in the hands of one, two or maybe three people. If the one or two persons were Andy or Chuck, the initial pricing of the entire issue would be reasonable, as I don't believe either one of these guys would intentionally manipulate chip pricing. Given that the people on the FQ list also buy the same allotment of $5 chips, and a number of higher denomination chips, they should be given priorities. The only alternative would open the door to one individual to buy an entire release. I've seen that happen before, and it ain't pretty. With a $1 LE, it'd be worth it for me to fly to Vegas on an hour's notice just to buy the entire release, if I wanted to control the price of the chip on the aftermarket.
....hope this makes sense to some people.
Given that you respond to my notes as not having time to respond to my rhetoric Archie, I expect no response from you.
