That particular type of chip (there are a variety of denominations) were used for, I believe 6-9 months as the first post-Katrina chips. I've seen some speculation that they may command a higher premium because of the relatively short period in which they were used. Maybe, but remember a lot of us got some of them while they were being used. I would think that there a fewer $2.50s, and denominations higher than $5 out there than there are $1s and $5s.

By the way, did that Lady Luck chip get there? The Emeril chip is clearly a different issue, as the inlay is much smaller than the two Emeril variety. Thanks for the trade.
