Many of you have pointed out that you have to find a niche that you like and collect that. This is what I have been saying for YEARS! Long before there was even a CC>CC. We saw very early on that it would drive a person crazy if they tried to collect everything. It just isn't possible.
What we DO collect is the histories of the old places. That is our "niche" so to speak. That is our love and passion. Dean has done many pages on casino histories for a book he will eventually put together. There is only one other person that has a copy of most of these histories.
There is definitely a place for LE's in this hobby as much as there is for anything else anyone wants to collect. They are so new to this hobby, though, that I don't think you will see any kind of value much over face for a very long time, but I do believe they will increase in value with time, and also with the next generation of chips/checks that come onto the market. Everything has its day eventually, and LE's will too.
