According to a LVA QOD a week or two ago, on bets larger than $5 they usually pay $6 on the first $5 that is bet, but only even money on the balance of the bet. For example, if you blackjack on an $8 bet, the payoff will be $6 (for the $5) plus $3 on the balance, for a total payoff of $9. On 3:2 blackjack the payoff would be $12!
