from a first timer.

I was completely underprepared for the show. So much that I only spent a few hours on the show floor and didn't hit any of the trade sessions. That was my fault. There were (no exaggeration) AT LEAST a million chips in that room. Every dealer had a different style of organization and I bet you could spend all week there looking through their books/boxes.

I would be willing to bet that you could find 90% if not all the chips you were looking for. I would suggest having your lists cross referenced by state/denomination/mold/city and price as all dealers have different set-ups. That's how I'll be doing it next year.

It is truely a spectacular event, but extremely overwhelming if you are not prepared.

As for the trade show...I missed it, again, because I knew it wouldn't be what I thought or prepared for. I understand that it's mostly 'cheaper' chips and would have been a great place for me to try to fill the racks that I'm working on, but I hadn't thought of that. That was my take or what I heard. I also heard the first and the last trade sessions are the best ones, but someone that's been will have to confirm or deny that.
