I wasn't trying to prove you wrong by any means, just point out another auction that seemed a little to good to be true. The seller advertised on the home page as well, had it listed in several catagories and even got coverage on national tv due to the rediculous bids...

The auction went on to say that the funds were to help finance some movie he made featuring the car. Propaganda??? I sure thought so...A Beer Bottle for $500K...maybe just more propaganda.

A lot of hype is created in these auctions and I suppose fees are paid, but are any of these bids real?

The car guy, I believe, got off a lot cheaper. I think that ebay motors just has a flat fee...no final auction fee, again this is only my unresearched second hand info.
