The chips look great! grin And I agree that they should be enjoyed....

but...

A few years ago my husband and I bought a frame that had 28 chips sandwiched between glass and black velvet. The chips looked fine when we bought it...here's 4 of them...

After we bought it and took 'em home, we took the frame off, looked at the 'back' side of the chips, and found this...

Luckily, most of the chips looked o.k. on the back side. A few, like the Lady Luck, show just the slightest discoloration. There were just 3 that are really bad...apparently the inlay material soaked up some of the dye from the black velvet. sad

You might want to check around and see if you can find some kind of ?paper/lightweight cardboard? ?plastic/mylar? something that you could slip between the inlay and the felt.

Ours appeared to have been framed for about 20-25 years.
