I have all my chips and other stuff in the van and we will be leaving for our annual cross country trip to Vegas and the Convention on Saturday afternoon after we go to the Grandkids birthday party - Sophia will be 5 on Sunday and Collin will be 8 on Monday. My son and daughter-in-law scheduled the party on Saturday so we could be there - we missed their birthdays last year because of the Convention.

We should be back home on August 23rd if everything goes as planned. Below is a brief glimpse of our itinerary and where we will be staying - we are staying at as many Harrah's properties as possible to use my comps and reward credits. Obviously we will hit as many casinos as we can along the way out and back.

1. July 29 - Cadsino Windsor(owned by Harrah's) - Windsor, Ontario Canada
2. JULY 30 - Harrah's - Joilet, Illinois
3. July 31 - Harrah's - Council Bluffs, Iowa
4. Aug 1 and 2 - Harrah's Kansas City, MO
5. Aug 4 - Oasis - Mesquite, NV
6. Aug 5 thru 8 - Rio - Las Vegas
7. Aug 9 thru 11 - Riviera - Las Vegas
8. Aug 12 - Harrah's - Laughlin, NV
9. Aug 18 - Harrah's Shreeport, LA (actually a motel that has an arrangement with Harrah's)
10. Aug 19 - Hilton - New Orleans, LA (a partner hotel for Harrah's)
11. Aug 20 and 21 - Grand Casino - Biloxi, MS (owned by Harrah's)

On the days in between we will be staying at other non-casino hotels or visiting family in Texas.
