that I bought it when it came out about 7 years ago, and I paid $1200 for it grin
I got the one built into my car and it costs more.
But for travel I use the my Dell Axim (windows mobile 5 PDA). I've got a small bluetooth GPS -- they go for around $75, and the GPS mapping software. Its great.
