It really is sad that some end up squabbling like teenage boys on the playground and think they are proving their manhood by insulting others, especially at a time when we're all looking forward to the highlight of our chipping year.
We would all probably be served by remembering a few of the things our folks tried to teach us:
1. Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you.
2. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all.
3. Sometimes it takes more courage to walk away from a fight.
4. Don't burn all of your bridges behind you.
5. Try counting to 10 before you respond, or better yet, sleep on it.
6. If you type don't drink, and if you drink, don't type. (No, my folks really didn't teach me that one, I figured it out on my own! )
